My town
I feel like my town is quite boring and you don’t really have much to do when you are here, apart from go up to town which is ok, but it can get boring. However, there are some good places to go to and some good parks and entertainment. There’s nowhere for the young teenagers to go. some people may think of the town as having good history, we’ve had a prime minister from here, the rugby -football league was formed here, we have a premier league football team, we also have architectural history, like castle hill for example, the town has now become more violent which is maybe political and racial and could also be drug related. Which sometimes means I feel unsafe when I leave my house. Shops are starting to close due to the high prices of the business taxes and rates. Also, the internet selling has made shops less popular to visit in person. We have a market in town. We also have a canal. In town most people don’t have very good manners, for example if you accidentally nudge into someone they kiss their teeth or grunt at you. We have a lot of green fields and some lovely views. We are becoming more of an accommodation town, so we knock down old building to create accommodation. Some of the landmarks such as the lion buildings are still here. But are now used for office blocks and eateries. We have a lot of boarded up shops. we have a major problem with littler and crime. We prefer to use technology rather than going outside and playing or going for walks. Even though there are some good and bad points I would rather live here then elsewhere, as a lot of my family members live nearby. But I could be persuaded by better weather or a good career.

In this image I can see 3 white stars in the middle of the image, 3 buildings; one seems to be a Colosseum and ,3 faces of different people; there is a man that is taking up 1/3 of the image, some birds and some words in Italian.
what techniques may have been used in the production in this image?
The techniques used to create this image would be threshold, some color splash, layers and some silhouettes also some sepia color effects on some of the images.
What meaning or stories can you find within this image?
This image makes me think that it shows someone's past or history. Also I think it shows someone's travel or where they use to live. Also this makes me think that someone is wanting to capture a place where they have been or lived in a way where they would like to remember it.

What are the main tools you would use to create this image?
The main tools you would use to create this would be move tool to move the image, quick selection tool to quickly select the part of the image that you need, you would use the crop tool, the opacity and the lasso tool again to get rid of the parts of the image you don't want.

What file formats do you use for this?
The file formats you can use are PSD (Photoshop document), this has a max width and height of 30,000 pixels and a file length limit of 2 gigabytes. PSB (Photoshop big), this has a max width and height of 300,000 pixels and has a file format limit of around 4 gigabytes.

Explore the potential of (Premier of other) for the use of film making?
The potential of Adobe Premier and other software for the use of film making is that this software actually integrates seamlessly with other Adobe CC applications that many people use of a regular basis because they are easy to understand and follow the tutorials that they provide. Adobe Premier also has a versatile and an ease of operation for the application.
I got this from the internet seen as I didn't know much about premier and other film making software.

Explore the potential of After Effects for the use in film and animation?
The potential of after effects for the use of film and animation is that it serves a different role depending on the users needs. a video editor might use adobe after effects more for title design and an animator might use it for creating cartoon characters. After effects does so much yet it does them well.
I got this from the internet seen as I didn't not have any knowledge on after effects seen as I didn't use it before this year.

Describe what you see in this image?
I see some oil equipment, someone behind prison bars, a woman in black and white which to me seems like she is either his wife or someone important, a collection of people protesting , one man with a name badge who looks to have authority who may have placed the man in jail , there are some maps that could show where the oil drilling took place and some blood on this piece of work.
What techniques do you think have been used?
The techniques used for this image were overlapping , merging, burning, blurring, opacity, colour fade, black and white effects, layering, cutting out.
What message are you getting from this piece of work?
I think that this piece of work is showing that someone started to drill for some oil in the wrong place. Also there were people protesting about it. Then he went to prison and the woman in black and white may have been his partner of someone who was protesting against it. The man with the name badge was probably someone who was against what he did and he might have put the other man behind bars.

Traditional vs Digital.
This next topic where I talk about traditional and digital cameras I had taken most gf the information off of the internet, websites where they were specifically designed to describe and explain this topic.
Traditional
Traditional is made with light sensitive material which the photographer exposes then develops in either darkroom or a machine using a mixture of chemicals then the film image transferred onto light sensitive paper. Darkrooms require chemicals harmful to people and nature. Analog films contain silver which is expensive to produce.
Pro's and Con's of Traditional.
Pro's
- Does better photos in black and white.
- Higher resolution then digital photos but has a small sizes that doesn't matter.
- Forces the photographer to plan a shot and execute it well.
- Large format film is still the best choice for landscape photography.
- In the right hands, photos from film are superior to digital.
- Buying film is expensive. so is paying for it to be developed if you don't have your own darkroom.
- The constraints of a roll limit the amount of photos you can take.
- Film takes up a lot of space.
- Film photography takes much time.
Digital
Uses a sensor with a huge number of light sensitive pixels. The sensor and the camera processor transforms the data into a file which is then saved onto a memory card of some sort. To edit the pictures remove the memory card from the camera or transfer to computer/laptop/tablet some digital cameras come with Wi-Fi and then transfers pics to other media, iCloud drive, websites and more.
Pro's and Con's of Digital
Pro's
- Digital is much cheaper than working with film.
- The ability to modify an image to enhance it an advantage.
- The digital images are better for internet use and social media.
- Digital offers more options for creativity.
- Digital photography can be time consuming when you consider many things, such as digital manipulation, organisation needs and storage options for thousands of photos.
- Not much time is taken to frame just the right photo as would occur with a film camera.
Main difference of Digital and Traditional
The main difference between a digital and traditional photography is that with traditional you have to replace the film seen as you have a limited amount of frames on the film. However in digital you can take as many photos as you want until the battery has died or the memory card is full.

Describe what you see in this image?
In this image I see two people and some random things that don't relate to each other such as, a car logo, a can of ham, posters, vacuum and maid in the background and etc. However, I have now seen that these objects are not random because this is an image to see how you think a room in the future will look and what you would have there.
What techniques do you think were used to create this image?
The techniques used to create this image were layering, colour editing, overlapping, collage, primary and secondary source images.
What meaning or story can you get from this piece of work?
This image/ piece of work makes me think that it is about someone's interests and the life somebody would like to live and what they would live with in the future.

ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed
Explanation of ISO.
The lower the number the less sensitive the camera is to the light causing the image to darken. However, the higher the number the more sensitive the camera is to the light causing it to become brighter.
Explanation of Aperture.
Lower the number on aperture the more things in blur on the background. Yet, the bigger the number the less things in blur in the background. aperture also is to depend on how much light is let in through the lens.
Explanation of shutter speed.
The faster (bigger) the shutter speed the it helps to freeze and image if it is moving. The slower (smaller) the shutter speed the more the image is blurred.
Effects of changing the ISO, Aperture and shutter speed.
Aperture
f2.8 f8.0 f22.0
shutter speed
1sec 1/60sec 1/4000sec
ISO
ISO 25600 ISO 1600 ISO 100
